If you are using a trafc receiver, you can view trafc information on your nüvi.
When a trafc message is received, your nüvi displays the incident on the map, and
you can change your route to avoid the trafc incident. For trafc data coverage areas,
refer to the Garmin Web site at www.garmin.com/fmtrafc.
NOTE: The FM trafc receiver and nüvi must be in data range of an FM station
transmitting trafc data to receive trafc information.
NOTE: Garmin is not responsible for the accuracy of the trafc information. The
FM trafc receiver simply receives signals from the trafc service provider and
displays that information on your nüvi.
NOTE: You can only access the trafc information if the nüvi is connected to an
FM trafc receiver.
Connecting the FM Trafc Receiver
1. Place your nüvi into the mount, and plug it into the 12/24-Volt adapter.
2. Plug the mini-USB cable from the FM trafc receiver into the USB connector
on the side of the nüvi.
