Assembly
Fit the bucket to the front end of the vehicle.
Fit a bucket axle through the hole in the end of the
bucket, vehicle body and out through the hole in the
other side of the bucket.
Repeat this procedure to attach the other bucket axle.

While holding one end of a bucket axle in place,
fit a cap nut on the other end of the bucket axle.
Tap the cap nut with a hammer to secure it to the
bucket axle.
Hint:You may need the help of another adult to hold one
end of the bucket axle while you secure a cap nut to the
other end of the bucket axle.
Repeat this procedure to secure a cap nut to the other
bucket axle.

While holding one end of the handle axle in place, fit a
cap nut on the other end of the handle axle.
Tap the cap nut with a hammer to secure it to the
handle axle.
Fit another cap nut to the other end of the handle axle.
Tap the cap nut with a hammer to secure it to the
handle axle.
Hint:You may need the help of another adult to hold one
end of the handle axle while you secure a cap nut to the
other end of the handle axle.
Cap Nuts
Place a cap nut on a flat surface, inside up.
Fit the end of the bucket axle into the cap nut.
Tap the opposite end of the bucket axle with a hammer
to secure the cap nut to the axle. Pull on the cap nut to
be sure it is secure.
Repeat this procedure to assemble a cap nut to the other
bucket axle.
