3. Tap the Status button and select whether the respective
obstruction is to be Evaded or Ignored.
4. Tap the Done icon to update the route. The system
recalculates the route if necessary.
Tuning
Tuning
1. Tap the Tuning button to toggle between the Auto tuning,
Hold station, and Frequency input modes.
Auto tuning In Auto tuning mode, the TMC receiver searches continually for
the station which is best received. The name and the frequency
of the station are being displayed.
Use the arrow keys of the "Station" section to receive another
station.
As soon as another station has been found, its name and
frequency are being displayed.
Hold station If you want to hold the sender which is currently being received,
press straight on the centre of the cursor pad as often as
necessary to display Hold station.
The TMC receiver holds now this station. Nevertheless, it changes
the frequency when the same station is better received on
another one.
The name of the station and the frequency on which it is
currently being received are being displayed.
Frequency input If you want to enter a certain frequency switch to the Frequency
input mode.
Use the arrow keys of the "Station" section to modify the
frequency in steps of 0.1 MHz.
If a station may be received on the currently tuned frequency its
name is being displayed. The bars at the right of the frequency
indicate the quality of reception.
Press the OK soft key to save the settings and to close the TMC
INFORMATION
screen.
