Keeping child seats in place (spool-out)
To make child seat installation easier, each seat belt buckle (except for the driver's belt) is equipped with
a locking mechanism to help keep the lap section of the seat belt taut.
When attaching the seat belt to a child seat:
· Make sure the red lock button is moved to the right (see illustration A above). A coin, etc. can be used
to move the button.
· Attach the seat belt to the child seat according to the child seat manufacturer's instructions.
· Pull the lap section of the seat belt taut.
