PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
SCHEDULE
IN DIRTY OR MOIST ENVIRONMENTS
90 DAY INTERVALS
If the unit is operated or stored in a dirty, moist, or salt
moisture environment, the electrical contacts, rotor and
stator should be inspected and cleaned every 90 days or
more frequently as deemed necessary.
IN CLEAN, DRY ENVIRONMENTS
12 MONTH INTERVALS
If the unit is operated or stored in a clean and dry envi-
ronment, the electrical contacts, rotor, and stator should
be inspected and cleaned every 12 months or more fre-
quently as deemed necessary.
No other preventative maintenance is required.
COLD WEATHER OPERATION
If the breaker is to be used during cold weather, preheat
the hydraulic uid at low engine speed. When using the
normally recommended uid, uid temperature should
be at or above 50 °F/10 °C (400 ssu/82 centistokes) be-
fore use.
Damage to the hydraulic system or breaker can result
from use with uid that is too viscous or thick.
