Handlebar Adjustment
Follow these steps to adjust the handlebars for a personal fit.
1. Remove the handlebar cover to
expose t he handlebar and the four
adjuster block bolts (A).
2. Using a 7/16 (11 mm) wrench,
loosen the four nuts on the bottom
of the adjuster block (turn handlebar
to left or right for access to back
nuts).
NOTE: It may be necessary to pry the adjuster b locks apart with a
screwdriver .
3. Adjust the handlebar to the desired height. Be sure handlebars,
brake lever and throttle lever operate smoothly and do not hit the
gas tank, windshield or any other part of the machine when turned
fully to the left or right.
4. Torque the handlebar adjuster block bolts to 11-13 ft. lbs. (15-17.5
Nm).
5. Replace the handlebar cover.
Passenger G rab Handle Adjustment
On some Touring models the position of the
passenger grab handles can be adjusted for
rider preference. To make an adjustment:
1. Unscrew and remove the knob
assemblies (A) that secure the grab
handles.
2. Reposition the grab handles to one of the
three available positions on the grab
handle tube between the operator seat
and the passenger seat.
3. Reinstall the knob assemblies and
tighten securely.
