WARRANTY on all components of the Polaris All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) against defects
inmaterialorworkmanship. Polarisalso givesaoneyearlimited warrantyon thefinaldrive
chain for failuredue to defects. This warranty covers the parts and labor charges for repair
or replacement of defective parts which are covered by this warranty . This warranty begins
on thedateofpurchase. Thiswarranty istransferrabletoanother consumer during thewar-
ranty period through a Polaris dealer.
REGISTRATION
At the timeof sale, the Warranty Registration Form must be completed by your dealer and
submitted to Polaris within ten days. Upon receipt of this registration, Polaris will record
the registration for warranty. No verification of registration will be sent to the purchaser as
the copy of the Warranty Registration Form will be the warranty entitlement. If you have
not signed the original registration and received the “customer copy”, please contact your
dealer immediately. NO WARRANTY COVERAGE WILL BE ALLOWED UNLESS
YOUR ATV IS REGISTERED WITH POLARIS.
Initial dealer preparation and set-up of yourATV isvery important in ensuring trouble-free
operation. Purchasing a machinein thecrateor withoutproperdealer set-up willvoid your
warranty coverage.
WARRANTY COVERAGE AND EXCLUSIONS:
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES
ThePolarislimited warrantyexcludesany failuresthatarenot caused byadefectinmaterial
or workmanship. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, normal wear and tear,
abuse or improper handling. This warranty also does not cover any ATV that has been al-
tered structurally, modified, neglected, improperly maintained, used for racing, or used for
purposesotherthan forwhich itwasmanufactured, orforany damageswhichoccurduring
trailer transit or asa resultof unauthorized service orthe useof unauthorizedparts. In addi-
tion, this warranty does not cover physical damageto paint or finish, stress cracks, tearing
orpuncturing ofupholstery material,corrosion,or defects in parts,componentsortheATV
due to fire, explosions or any other cause beyond Polaris’ control.
Thiswarrantydoesnot covertheuseof unauthorized lubricants, chemicals, orfuels thatare
not compatible with the ATV. The exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty shall be, at
Polaris’ exclusive option, repair or replacement of any defective materials, or components
or products. THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY ARE THE ONLY
REMEDIES AVAILABLE TO ANY PERSON FOR BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY.
POLARIS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY TO ANY PERSON FOR INCIDENTAL,
CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES OF ANY DESCRIPTION, WHETHER
ARISING OUT OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER CON-
TRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHER TORT OR OTHERWISE. Some statesd o not per-
mit theexclusion orlimitation ofincidental orconsequentialdamagesor impliedwarranties,
sotheabovelimitationsor exclusionsmay notapply to you if inconsistent with controlling
state law.
