Operation
Starting the Engine
NOTICE: Operating the ATV immediately after starting could cause engine damage. Allow the engine
to warm up for several minutes before operating.
1. Shift the transmission to neutral.
2. Lock the parking brake.
3. Turn the fuel valve on.
4. Sit on the vehicle. Attach the tether strap to
the ATV and to your wrist.
5. If the engine is cold, use full choke by
pushing the choke lever all the way to the
left. A warm engine will not require the use
of the choke.
Tip: The choke is fully on when the lever is pushed completely to the left. The choke is off when the
lever is pushed completely to the right. The choke can be adjusted gradually, depending on how
much choke is needed for starting.
6. Push the engine stop switch up to the ON position.
