Toe Alignment
Use the following procedure to check the toe align-
ment of the vehicle. The recommended toe alignment
is 1/8" to 1/4" (3-6 mm) toe out.
WARNING! Severe injury or death can result from
improper toe alignment and adjustment. Do not attempt to
adjust tie rod alignment. All tie rod adjustments should be
performed by an authorized POLARIS dealer.
1. Position the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Place the handlebars in a straight-ahead position.
3. Tie a length of string between two stands as
shown in the illustration. Position the stands so
that the string is flush with the side of the rear
tire. If available, you may use a long straight-
edge instead of string.
