15. Preferences
You can modify the following preferences to suit your needs.
Screen Brightness
1. Press and hold the Zoom/Brightness button to display the Brightness scale.
2. To increase screen brightness, press
+
. To decrease screen brightness, press
-.
The Brightness scale comprises ten rectangular boxes in a row. As screen brightness is
increased, the first seven boxes progressively turn from gray to green; the last three turn red.
Warning: The iCN can heat up when the Brightness scale is set above 70% - i.e., when more
than seven rectangles are coloured - therefore,
use lower brightness whenever acceptable.
Volume
1. Press and hold the Volume button to display the Volume scale.
2. To increase volume, press
+
. To decrease volume, press
-.
Routing Preferences
1. From the Main Menu, select Preferences. Press OK.
2. From the Preferences screen, select Routing.
The first of three Routing screens will display. Press
to move through the Routing screens.
3. Complete one of the following:
If you want to... Then...

Quickest to give more weighting to the
fastest time when calculating a route.
