Locking and unlocking
Unlocking driver’s door and fuel filler
flap
̈ Press button Œ once.
ț All turn signal lamps flash once.
ț An acoustic signal sounds once (if
equipped and feature activated).

ț The locking knob in the driver’s
door moves up.
ț The anti-theft alarm system is dis-
armed.
Global unlocking
̈ Press button Œ twice.
ț All turn signal lamps flash once or
twice.
ț An acoustic signal sounds once (if
equipped and feature activated).
ț The locking knobs in the doors
move up.
ț The anti-theft alarm system is dis-
armed.
Global locking
̈ Press button ‹.
ț All turn signal lamps flash three
times.
ț An acoustic signal sounds three
times (if equipped and feature acti-
vated).
ț The locking knobs in the doors
move down.
ț The anti-theft alarm system is
armed.
Restoring to factory setting
̈ Press and hold buttons Œ and ‹
simultaneously for about six seconds
until battery check lamp 5 flashes
twice.

If you cannot lock or unlock the vehicle
with the SmartKey, then the batteries
of the SmartKey are discharged, or the
SmartKey is malfunctioning or the vehi-
cle battery is drained.
ț Check the batteries of the
SmartKey (

place them if necessary

ț Use the mechanical key to unlock
the driver’s door (

required.
ț Have the vehicle batteries and their
connections checked.
ț Use the mechanical key to lock the
