9-4. Vehicle status check
This operation can be performed before or after the engine start operation.
1) Press the function switch until it
beeps.
The LCD display will appear as shown
on the right.
After the send mark flashes, the send
operation is completed. After the send
operation is completed, the controller
will send an answer back signal.
When the remote control receives a
response from the vehicle, it indicates
the engine start operation with a
display (on the right) and a melody.
The following 2 items can be checked.
・ Is the engine running?
・ Is the rear defrost turned on?
Some vehicle models stop the rear
defrost after 15 minutes.
Condition error display (p.16) does not
appear.
