Troubleshooting
NU•M8 does not switch on
Battery is flat
If the LCD does not show the first
vertical bar on the LCD then there is
no GSM coverage
If NU•M8 does not proceed beyond
the first bar then hit the reset button
on the back, if this problem persists
contact LOK8U customer service
Clock shows the wrong time
Adjust the time by following the
instructions in the time section of this
manual
NU•M8 does not respond to a WRU request
If sent by SMS check that the
message has been sent from your
mobile phone.
NU•M8 has no mobile phone
coverage.
You are not set up to receive alerts
on the portal so NU•M8 will reject
your text.
Cannot set a safe zone
NU•M8 cannot get a location from
GPS
You are not set up as the alerts
