Your zūmo can receive and use trafc
information using an optional FM
TMC (Trafc Message Channel) trafc
receiver (such as the GTM
20) or an
XM smart antenna (such as the GXM
30). When a trafc message is received,
your zūmo displays the incident on the
map and can change your route to avoid
the trafc incident.
NOTE: Garmin is not
responsible for the accuracy
of the trafc information. The
trafc receiver or antenna simply
receives signals from the trafc
service provider and displays that
information on your zūmo.
NOTE: You can only access the
trafc information if the zūmo is
connected to a trafc receiver or
antenna (see page 54).
Trafc in Your Area
On the Menu page, touch or
> Trafc.
Trafc on Your Route
The map displays or when
there is a trafc delay on your route.
The number in the icon represents the
delay time in minutes. The delay time is
automatically calculated into the arrival
time shown on the map.
1. Touch or to view a map and
more information.
2. Touch the yellow text bar for more
information. If there is more than one
delay, touch Details.
