The nüvi supports MP3 and FLAC
music les, and M3U and M3U8 playlist
les.
Creating and Listening to
Playlists
Using your nüvi, you can listen to
playlists created on your computer. You
can also save playlists using your nüvi.
To save your current playlist:
1. While listening to music, touch
Browse > Playlists > Current
Playlist > Save.
2. Enter a name for the playlist, and
touch Done.
To create a new playlist:
1. In the Music Player, touch Browse >
Playlists > New.
2. Select a song from a category, and
touch Save.
3. Enter a name, and touch Done.
4. To add more songs to your new
playlist, touch Edit > Add Songs.
To create a playlist on a computer:
1. Using your computer and an audio
program, create a playlist of music
les. Save the playlist as an M3U or
M3U8 le.
NOTE: You might need to edit the
playlist le with a text editor, such as
Notepad, to remove the path (link) to
the music le. The playlist le should
only list the music le names. Refer to
the Help le for the audio program.
2. Transfer the playlist and the music
les to the nüvi or the microSD drive
(see pages 32–33). The playlist le
must be in the same location as the
music les.
To play a playlist:
1. In the Music Player, touch Browse
> Playlists. All available playlists
appear.
2. Touch a playlist, and touch Play.
