1. Turn on the power while pressing and
holding down the [MENU/ESC] key.
Continue pressing the [MENU/ESC] key
until the Installation menu appears.

2. Press ▼ to choose GOTO RADAR
SETUP.
3. Press ►. Power is then reset.
4. Wait one minute, press the
[POWER/BRILL] key followed by the
[MODE] key to transmit.
5. Press the [MENU/ESC] key to show the
User menu.
6. Press ► to show the Radar Setup menu.

9. Visually identify a suitable target (for
example, ship or buoy) at a range
between 0.125 to 0.25 miles.
10. Point your boat’s bow directly toward the
target selected at step 9.
11. Locate the target selected at step 9 on
the display and choose a range which
places it in the outer half of the picture.
12. Press ◄ or ► to bisect the target with the
heading line.

13. Press the [MODE] key.
14. Press the [MENU/ESC] key to return to
the Installation menu.
15. Move the boat towards a small buoy and
confirm that the buoy shows up dead
ahead on the radar when it is visually
dead ahead.
