Traction
Band
Center Rib
• Slide a front wheel, inside first, onto a front axle.
• Fit a traction band onto the center rib on one of the front
wheels, as shown.
Hint: If it is difficult to position the traction band on the
wheel, try soaking it in hot water for about two minutes
to soften it.
Traction Band
• Using a slotted screwdriver, pull the other side of the
traction band around the front wheel.
• Make sure the traction band covers the center rib all
around the front wheel.
• Repeat assembly steps 20 and 21 to assemble the other
traction band to the other front wheel.

• Identify the inside and the outside of the front wheel.
- Inside of front wheel has circular indents.
- Outside of front wheel has a rectangular indent.
