• Fit a rectangular bushing (with rectangular opening) onto
the end of the rear axle. Make sure the base on the
rectangular bushing is down, as shown.
• Place a cap nut on a flat surface, inside up, as shown.
Hint: You may want to place a scrap block of wood
underneath the cap nut to protect the assembly surface.
• Fit the rear axle into the cap nut.
• Tap the opposite end of the rear axle with a hammer to
secure the cap nut in the rear axle. Pull on the cap nut to
be sure it is secure.
• Set the rear axle assembly aside for Assembly step 6.
• Turn the vehicle body
over so that the bottom
is facing you.
• Using safety scissors, cut the plastic retainer holding the
motor in place.
• Throw away the plastic retainer.

- Front wheels have a ribbed center tread.
• Select a rear wheel (with flat center tread) and go onto
