vehicles doors with Remote Control Transmitter while in the Valet Mode.
PASSIVE/MANUAL OPERATION
Manual Arming / Disarming is controlling your Security System via the Remote Control Transmitter.
This security system is equipped with an optional Passive Arming feature, which allows the Security
System to arm 30 seconds after the last door is closed. Operation is as follows.
1. Turn the vehicles ignition to the “OFF” position and exit the vehicle.
2. After all entrances are closed, the Security Systems LED will flash fast for 30 seconds. If you re-
open any door, the Security Systems LED will stop flashing. It will begin flashing again once the
vehicles door is closed.
3. After the 30 second timer has elapsed, the Security System will automatically “ARM”. The siren
will chirp (1) time and the vehicles parking lights will flash (1) time.
Note: If the vehicles door locks have been interfaced to the Security System, the vehicles doors
will automatically lock after the passive arming cycle has been completed. If this feature is
not desired, see your local dealer and have the Security System re-programmed to elimi-
nate passive door locking.
PASSIVE ARMING BY-PASS
Your AutoPage Vehicle Security System can temporarily by-pass the Passive Arming function via the
Remote Control Transmitter. To temporarily by-pass Passive Arming, exit the vehicle and close all
doors. The LED will begin the fast flash 30 second timer for passive arming. Press the CAR icon
button on the transmitter twice, the security will respond with 1 chirp and the LED will turn “ON”. The
security system will remain in this tempory state for as long as you wish. To exit passive by-pass press
the Lock or Unlock button and the system will return to normal status.
(
This feature is only available when the Passive Arming feature is programmed “ON”)

Your AutoPage Security System is equipped with a priority door unlock feature which will indepen-
dently unlock the drivers door only when disarming the Security System. Pushing the Unlock button a
second time within 3 seconds will unlock the entire vehicle.
This feature requires additional installation
and is not a standard feature of the Security System.
AUTOMATIC REARMING (OPTIONAL)
If this feature is selected, the Security System will automatically re-arm itself 60 seconds after disarm-
ing with the Remote Control Transmitter. Automatic rearm will cancel if any door is opened before the
60 second timer has elapsed.
IGNITION CONTROL DOOR LOCKS (OPTIONAL)
If the vehicles door locks have been interfaced to the Security System, the Security System will auto-
matically lock the vehicles doors when the ignition is turned “ON” and/or unlock the vehicles doors
when the ignition is turned “OFF”.
Note: If any door is open when the ignition is turned “ON”, the Security System will not
automatically lock the vehicles doors.
