Laser/Scanner Assembly
1 Remove the Printer Covers.
2 Remove both Laser/Scanner connectors (Figure 6-20, callout 1).
Note The Laser/Scanner connect cable on the HP LaserJet 6L Pro is twisted (not shown in Figure 6-20).
3 Remove all (4) screws and lift the assembly straight off (Figure 6-20, callout 2).
Note One of the four screws is longer than the other three. Upon reinstallation, the longer screw must be
replaced in its original location.

To reinstall
The Laser/Scanner connect cable on the HP LaserJet 6L Pro should be twisted before reinstalling
(not shown in Figure 6-20).
