*SRS airbag (Supplemental
Restraint System airbag)
*SRS: This stands for supplemental re-

cause the airbag system supplements the

Your vehicle is equipped with a crash
sensing and diagnostic module, which will
record the use of the seatbelt(s) by the
driver and front passenger when any of
the SRS frontal, side and curtain airbags
deploys.
Your vehicle’s SRS configu-
ration
The driver’s seat, the front passenger’s
seat, and the outboard seats of the rear/
second seating row of your vehicle are
each provided with, in addition to a lap/
shoulder belt, one or more airbags as fol-
lows:
y Frontal airbag (one each for driver’s
seat and front passenger’s seat)
y Side airbag (one each for driver’s seat
and front passenger’s seat)
y Curtain airbag (one each for the out-
board sides of cabin, extending from driv-
er’s and front passenger’s seats to rear/
second seating row)
Do not pass the top tether under the
head restraint. The top tether will
touch the head restraint and the re-
sulting slack will prevent its secure
installation.
Do not use the top tether with the
head restraint in a raised position,
otherwise the top tether cannot be
fastened tightly.
