Engine Turns Over, F ails to Start
Possible Cause Solution
Out of fuel Turn fuel valve to r eserve, refuel
Clogged fuel valve or filter Inspect and clean or replace
Water is present in fuel Drain the fuel system and r efuel
Fuel valve is turned off Turn the fuel valve on
Old or non-recommended fuel Replace with new fuel
Fouled or defective spark plug(s) Inspect plug(s), replace if necessary
No spark to spark plug Inspect plug(s), verify stop switch i s on
Crankcase filled with water or fuel Immediately see your Polaris dealer
Clogged fuel filter Replace the filter
Low battery voltage Recharge battery with .5 amp charger
Mechanical failure See your Polaris dealer
