Axle and Wheel Nut Torque Specifications
Check the following nuts occasionally and when they’ve been loosened fo r maintenance.
Specification
Front Spindle Nuts 42-45 ft. lbs. (57-61 Nm)
Rear Spindle N uts 78-81 ft. lbs. (106-110 Nm)
NOTE: All nuts with a cotter pin installed must be serviced by an authorized Polaris
dealer.
Front Wheel Hub Tightening
Front wheel bearing tightness and spindle nut retention are critical component operations.
All service must be performed by your authorized Polaris dealer.
