WARRANTY on all components of the Polaris All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) against defects
inmaterialorworkmanship. Polarisalsogivesaoneyearlimited warrantyon thefinaldrive
chain for failure due to defects. This warranty coversthe parts and labor charges for repair
or replacement of defective parts which are covered by this warranty. This warranty begins
on thedateof purchase. Thiswarrantyistransferrableto anotherconsumerduring thewar-
ranty period through a Polaris dealer.
REGISTRATION
At the time of sale, the Warranty Registration Form must be completed by your dealer and
submitted to Polaris within ten days. Upon receipt of this registration, Polaris will record
theregistrationforwarranty. THE PURCHASERMUSTCOMPLETEANATVSAFETY
TRAINING COURSE PROVIDED BY THE DEALER IN ORDER TO HAVE VALID
WARRANTY ON THE ATV. No verification of registration will be sent to the purchaser
as the copy of the Warranty Registration Form will bethe warranty entitlement. If you have
not signed the original registration and received the “customer copy”, please contact your
dealer immediately. NO WARRANTY COVERAGE WILL BE ALLOWED UNLESS
YOUR ATV IS REGISTERED WITH POLARIS.
Initial dealer preparation and set-up of yourATV isvery importantin ensuring trouble-free
operation. Purchasing amachine in the crate orwithout properdealer set-up will void your
warranty coverage.
WARRANTY COVERAGE AND EXCLUSIONS:
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES
ThePolarislimitedwarrantyexcludesanyfailuresthatarenotcausedby adefectinmaterial
or workmanship. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, normal wear and tear,
abuse or improper handling. This warranty also does not cover any ATV that has been al-
tered structurally, modified, neglected,improperly maintained, used for racing, orused for
purposesotherthan for which itwasmanufactured, orforany damageswhich occurduring
trailer transit orasa resultof unauthorizedserviceor the use ofunauthorized parts. In addi-
tion, this warranty does not cover physical damage to paint or finish, stress cracks, tearing
orpuncturing ofupholstery material,corrosion,or defects in parts,components ortheATV
due to fire, explosions or any other cause beyond Polaris’ control.
Thiswarrantydoesnot coverthe use ofunauthorized lubricants,chemicals,orfuels thatare
not compatible with the ATV. The exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty shall be, at
Polaris’ exclusive option, repair or replacement of any defective materials, or components
or products. THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY ARE THE ONLY
REMEDIES AVAILABLE TO ANY PERSON FOR BREACH OF T HIS WARRANTY.
POLARIS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY TO ANY PERSON FOR INCIDENTAL,
CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES OF ANY DESCRIPTION,WHETHER
ARISING OUT OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER CON-
TRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHER TORT OR OTHERWISE. Some states do n ot per-
mit theexclusion orlimitation ofincidentalorconsequential damagesor impliedwarranties,
sotheabovelimitationsor exclusionsmay notapply toyou ifinconsistent with controlling
state law .
