General Maintenance
Coolant Level
The coolant level in the coolant bottle must
be maintained at the FULL COLD mark (A)
to prevent overheating and serious engine
damage.
The engine coolant level is controlled by the recovery system. The
recovery system components are:
S Coolant bottle
S Engine filler neck
S Pressure cap
S Connecting hoses
Flushing the Cooling System
To ensure that the coolant maintains its ability to protect the engine,
the system should be completely drained every two years and a fresh
50/50 or 60/40 mixture of antifreeze and distilled water should be
added. This service must be done when the engine is cold. Ask your
Polaris dealer to check the coolant when h e performs the fall tune-up
on your snowmobile.
