Important Safety Information
Important: Some states have restrictions on locating your GPS unit on the
windshield. Included with your Nextar unit is an adhesive backed Dashboard
Mount Disk that can be used if attaching the mounting bracket to the windshield is
inconvenient or not allowed.

Live Traffic Service
Your Nextar GPS unit comes with lifetime Live Traffic service that provides you with
information about traffic events and traffic flow that may affect your route or driving time.
Important: In order for your GPS unit to receive and display traffic information, you
must first connect the supplied FM receiver and antenna to your unit. See Page 9 for
detailed instructions on installing the receiver and antenna in your vehicle. Refer to your
Quick Start Guide or software guide for more information about Live Traffic Service.
