Controls in detail
Locking and unlocking
Rear doors
̈ Pull up locking knob 1 on the
respective rear door to unlock door.
̈ Pull on door handle 2 on the
respective rear door to open door.
Opening the tailgate
A minimum height clearance of 6.40 ft
(1.95 m) is required to open the tailgate.
The handle is located above the rear
license plate recess.

The vehicle must be unlocked.
̈ Pull on handle 1.
̈ Lift the tailgate.
Closing the tailgate
1 Handle
̈ Lower tailgate by pulling firmly on
handle 1.
̈ Close tailgate with hands placed flat on
it.

If the vehicle has previously been
locked from the outside with the
SmartKey, opening a door from the
inside will trigger the anti-theft alarm
system*.
To cancel the alarm, do one of the
following:
ț Press button Œ or ‹ on the
SmartKey.
ț Insert the SmartKey in the starter
switch.

overhead clearance.
