Disassembly
2. Disconnect the fuel lines at the inlet of the
carburetor, and the in-line fuel filter. See Figure 9-11.

3. Remove the two hex. flange screws securing the
fuel pump to the blower housing and remove the
pump and lines as an assembly. Slide the fuel line
out of the clip attached to mounting stud. See
Figure 9-12.

Remove Air Cleaner Base
1. Disconnect the breather hose from the air cleaner
base. See Figure 9-13.

2. Remove the two hex. flange nuts securing the air
cleaner base assembly to the carburetor studs.

3. Remove clamp and air cleaner base (with
element) from the studs.
