The temperature rating for the Geko 101 may exceed the usable range of some batteries. Alkaline batteries can
rupture at high temperatures. Modifi cations or other applications will void the product warranty.

Alkaline batteries lose a signifi cant amount of their capacity as temperature decreases. Use lithium batteries when
operating the Geko 101 in below-freezing conditions. Extensive use of screen backlighting will signifi cantly reduce
battery life.
