Arming
When the system is armed by the remote
control transmitter, you will observe the
following:
The siren will “chirp” once (if chirp on/off
switch is set ON).
1
2
3
The parking lights will flash once.
The doors will lock.
4
The extension LED will flash.
Notes:
The SEC-100S/150R incorporates a
feature called faulty sensor bypass. If
the SEC-100S/150R detects a faulty
sensor when armed, it will chirp the
siren three times after arming and will
ignore that sensor input. The siren will
chirp three times 45 seconds after
arming if the door sensor is defective
and six seconds after arming if any
other sensor is defective. Once any
sensor is restored back to a normal
condition, the system will immediately
resume protecting that sensor input.
•Flashing parking lights and door locks
may be optional. Consult your Alpine
dealer for more information.
