12.10.2. REPLACING THE STANDARD REFERENCE O

SCRUBBER
To determine whether the reference O
3
scrubber requires replacement, follow the
procedures in Section 12.8.1.
1. Turn off power to the instrument.
2. Remove instrument cover.
3. The reference scrubber is a blue colored canister located at the rear of the
measure/reference valve Assembly. See Figure 3-5.

Disco
nnect the top 1/8” brass tube fitting from the scrubber.
5. Carefully remove the scrubber from the retaining clip.
6. Remove the bottom 1/8” brass tube fitting from the scrubber.
7. Perform the above steps in reverse to install the new scrubber.
Note The new scrubber should be allowed to run in the instrument for at least
24 hrs after which the instrument should be re-calibrated.
