- Connectto a properlyrated,
protectedand sizedpower-
supplycircuitto av6idelectrical
overload.
- Connectto adequate plumbing
and drain facilitiesas described
in the InstallationInstructions.
@Turn off water faucetswhenthe
washeris not in useto relieve
pressureon hosesand valves,and
to minimizeleakageif a hoseor
valveshould break or rupture.
@When disconnectingthis
appliancepullby the plug rather
than the cord to avoiddamageto
the cord or junction of cord and
plug. Makesure that the cord is
locatedso that it willnot be
steppedon, tripped over or
otherwisesubjectedto damage
or stress.
@Westronglyrecommendthat
anyservicingbe performed by
a qualifiedindividual
@The wiringdiagramfor this
machineis locatedinsidethe
controlpanel.
To minimize the

Do not add thesesubstancesto the
washwater.
Do not use thesesubstances
around your washerand/or dryer
duringoperation.
ISHYDROGEN GASis produced
by the chemicalaction withinyour
water heater and the gascan
accumulatein the water heater
and/or water pipesif hot water has
not beenused for a period of two
weeksor longer.HYDROGEN
GAS CAN BEEXPLOSIVE
UNDER THESE CIRCU-
MSTANCES.So to preventthe
possibilityof damageor injury,if
you havenot used hot water for
two weeksor more, or moveinto
a residencein whichthe hot water
systemmay not havebeenused for
sometime, turn on
allhot water
faucetsand allowthem to run for
severalminutesbefore usingany
electricalappliancewhichis con-
nectedto thehot watersystem.
Thiswillallowany hydrogengas
to escape.Of course,sincethe gas
isflammable,do not smokeor use
an open flameor applianceduring
thisprocess.
@Neverreachinto the washer
whileit ismoving.Beforeloading,
unloadingor addingclothes,push
in the CycleSelectorknob to
“STOP” position,then waituntil
the machinehas completely
stoppedbeforeopeningthe lid.
@Closesupervisionisnecessary
if this applianceisusedby or near
children.Do not allowchildrento
playinside,on, or withthisappli-
anceor any discardedappliance.
Disposeof discardedappliances
and shippingor packingmaterials
properly.Beforediscardinga
washeror removingfrom service,
removethe washerlid.
@Keepalllaundry aids(suchas
detergents,bleaches,fabricsof-
teners,etc.) out of thereach of
children,preferablyin a locked
cabinet.Observeallwarningson
containerlabelsto avoidpersonal
injury.
@Keepthe area around and under-
neath your appliancesfreefrom
the accumulationof combustible
materials,suchas lint, paper, rags,
chemicals,etc.
* Keepthe flooraround your
appliancescleanand dry to reduce
the possibilityof slipping.
@To minimizethe possibilityof
electricshock, unplugthisappli-
ancefrom the power-supplybefore
attemptinganymaintenanceor
cleaning(exceptthe removaland
cleaningof the lint filter). NOTE:
Turningthe CycleSelectorknob to
an OFF positiondoesNOT dis-
connectthe appliancefrom the
power-supply.
