Troubleshooting and Maintenance
Toner may have spilled in the paper feed path. Turn off the
printer. Remove the Imaging Cartridge and then clean the paper
path of the printer using a clean, soft, lint-free cloth.

Caution:
Opening the printer exposes the fuser, which is marked by a
CAUTION Hot Surface Avoid Contact label. Be careful not to
touch the fuser.
Memory problems
This message indicates that you need to simplify the page you are
trying to print, change your memory allocation, or add more
memory to your printer.
Try simplifying your page by reducing the number or size of fonts
or the number or size of graphics, or both.
The printer cannot print at the requested quality level because of
insufficient memory, and the printer reduces the quality
automatically so that the printer can continue printing. Check to
see if the printout is acceptable. If not, add more memory for a
permanent solution or set Print Quality to
300 dpi
and Page

OFF
temporarily in the printer driver.
