7 Adjusting Autopilot Settings
Data pages 1-7
The next 7 screens allow you to modify the settings for the data pages.
These define the SeaTalk/NMEA data pages that will be available
during normal operation (see page 29). Each data page setup screen
initially shows the title
DATA PAGE and the page number. After 1
second, the text changes to the title of the data currently set for that
page.
The default settings are:
To change the data displayed on a data page:
Press
disp to move to the appropriate data page setup screen.
Use the
-1 and +1 keys to scroll forwards or backwards through
the available data pages (see following table).
Then press
disp to move to the next data page you want to
change, or press and hold
standby for 2 seconds to save changes.
Data page Default setting
1 XTE (Cross Track Error)
2 BTW* (Bearing to Waypoint)
3 DTW* (Distance to Waypoint)
4 RESPONSE
5 -7 NOT USED (These pages are not displayed when you scroll
through the data pages during normal operation)
*Note: It is good practice to keep the BTW and DTW pages for display. If the
autopilot receives a man overboard (MOB) message, these data pages will
show the bearing and distance to the MOB location.
