I've removed the 3-volt CR2032 lithium battery in my Raystar 120 GPS receiver, but I've lost my notes on battery orientation. I'm guessing the new battery should be oriented with negative side toward the circuit board on which it's mounted, with the positive side facing the viewer looking at the circuit board. Can anyone confirm this orientation before we glue (conductive glue) the new battery in place? Owner's manual is no help.

0 I have the owner's manual, but it provides no information on battery replacement. All it says is to consult a Raymarine service technician. These batteries last 10 years, the age of my unit, and the battery needs replacement. All I need is the proper orientation. Voltage across the mounting clips shows 0.06 volts, with the positive side nearest the viewer and the negative clip closest to the circuit board.
