WARRANTY on all components of the Polaris All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) against defects
inmaterialorworkmanship. Polarisalsogivesaoneyearlimited warranty onthefinaldrive
chain forfailuredue to defects. Thiswarranty covers the partsand labor charges forrepair
or replacement of defective parts which are covered by this warranty. This warranty begins
on thedate ofpurchase. Thiswarranty istransferrableto anotherconsumerduring thewar-
ranty period through a Polaris dealer.
REGISTRATION
At thetimeof sale,the Warranty Registration Form must be completed by your dealer and
submitted to Polaris within ten days. Upon receipt of this registration, Polaris will record
the registration for warranty. No verification of registration will be sent to the purchaser as
the copy of the Warranty Registration Form will be the warranty entitlement. If you have
not signed the original registration and received the “customer copy”, please contact your
dealer immediately. NO WARRANTY COVERAGE WILL BE ALLOWED UNLESS
YOUR ATV IS REGISTERED WITH POLARIS.
Initial dealer preparation and set-up of yourATV is very importantin ensuringtrouble-free
operation. Purchasing amachinein the crateorwithoutproperdealerset-upwillvoid your
warranty coverage.
WARRANTY COVERAGE AND EXCLUSIONS:
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES
ThePolarislimitedwarrantyexcludesany failuresthatarenotcausedby adefectinmaterial
or workmanship. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, normal wear and tear ,
abuse or improper handling. This warranty also does not cover any ATV that has been al-
tered structurally, modified, neglected,improperly maintained, used forracing, orused for
purposesotherthan for which itwasmanufactured,orforanydamageswhichoccurduring
trailer transitor asaresultof unauthorized service orthe use ofunauthorized parts.In addi-
tion, this warranty does not cover physical damage to paintor finish, stress cracks, tearing
orpuncturing ofupholsterymaterial,corrosion,ordefectsinparts, componentsortheATV
due to fire, explosions or any other cause beyond Polaris’ control.
Thiswarranty doesnotcovertheuseofunauthorized lubricants, chemicals,orfuelsthatare
not compatible with the ATV. The exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty shall be, at
Polaris’ exclusive option, repair or replacement of any defective materials, or components
or products. THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY ARE THE ONLY
REMEDIES AVAILABLE TO ANY PERSON FOR BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY.
POLARIS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY TO ANY PERSON FOR INCIDENTAL,
CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES OF ANY DESCRIPTION,WHETHER
ARISING OUT OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER CON-
TRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHER TORT OR OTHERWISE.So me statesdo not per-
mittheexclusion orlimitation ofincidentalorconsequential damagesorimpliedwarranties,
sotheabovelimitations orexclusionsmaynot apply toyou ifinconsistent with controlling
state law.
