Engine Oil
Oil and Filter Change
Always change the oil and filter at the intervals outlined in the Periodic
Maintenance Chart beginning on page 65. Always change the oil filter
whenever changing oil.
The oil tank drain plug is on the bot-
tom of the oil tank. Access the drain
plug through the left rear wheel well.
The crankcase drain plug is located
on the bottom of the crankcase.
Access the drain plug through the
access hole under the crankcase.
1. Position the vehicle on a level
surface. Place the transmission
in PARK.
2. Clean the areas around the oil
tank and crankcase drain plugs.
CAUTION! Hot oil can cause burns to
skin. Do not allow hot oil to contact skin.
3. Place a drain pan under the oil
tank and remove the drain plug.
Allow the oil to drain com-
pletely
4. Place a drain pan under the
engine crankcase and remove
the drain plug. Allow the oil to
drain completely.
