Hauling Cargo
Towing Loads
Towing is approved OFF-ROAD ONLY. Towing a trailer on public
roads is prohibited. See your Polaris dealer about configuring the vehi-
cle to be certified to tow a trailer on-road. Do not tow any trailer on a
grade steeper than 15°.
Always attach a towed load to the hitch point. If towing a load, reduce
rear rack cargo weight by the amount of tongue weight.
• The combination of rear rack cargo weight and tongue weight must
not exceed the rear rack capacity.
• The total load (operator, passenger, accessories, cargo and weight on
hitch) must not exceed the maximum weight capacity of the vehicle.
Using an improper hitch or exceeding the
maximum tongue weight capacity can result
in serious damage to the vehicle and will
void your warranty. Never install a hitch
longer than 17 cm. Never install automotive
accessories on your Polaris vehicle. Always
install Polaris-approved (or equivalent)
accessories designed for use on the Polaris
vehicle.
