Wear Strips
Polaris IQ models are manufactured with tunnel wear strips or wear
strip coolers installed. To avoid excessive tunnel wear, tunnel wear
strips must be installed whenever track studding is used.
Wear strips are designed for a specific stud length. S ee your dealer’s
studding chart for recommende d traction accessories.
Components as viewed from the rear of the track:
1. Top of tunnel
2. Wear strip
3. T rack
4. Wearstrip mounting holes
CAUTION
Whenever wear strips are relocated, be sure there’s adequate stud
clearance to the heat exchangers. Lack of clearance may result in
damage to heat exchangers.
