IQ Front Suspension Adjustments
Assault Shocks
The tension at which the shock coil
spring is set is called spring preload.
For the best ride, the suspension should
be adjusted to use the full travel of the
shocks with occasional light bottom-
ing.
After making spring adjustments,
adjust shock clickers to control bot-
toming. Turning a clicker clockwise
increases damping for a stiffer ride and
less bottoming. Turning a clicker
counter-clockwise decreases damping
for a softer ride.
Test ride the snowmobile and continue
making spring and clicker adjustments
until you achieve the perfect ride.
