OPERATION
Braking
1. Release the throttle pedal completely.
2. Press o n the brake p edal evenly an d firmly.
NOTE: Practice starting and stopping (using the brakes) until you’re
familiar with the controls.
NOTE: When the throttle pedal is released completely and the
engine speed drops near an idle, the vehicle has no engine
braking.
WARNING
Failure to allow for increased braking distance when hauling
cargo or towing a trailer may result in ac cident and injur y. Always
slow down and allow additional br aking distance when towing or
hauling cargo.
