Traffic inforMaTion
Using an FM Trafc Receiver or an XM Smart Antenna,
your StreetPilot 7200/7500 can receive and use trafc
information. When a trafc message is received, your
StreetPilot displays the event on the map and can change
your route to avoid the trafc incident.

providers and covered cities, refer to www.garmin.com
/fmtrafc. For coverage cities (North America only) for
XM NavTrafc, see www.xmnavtrafc.com.
NOTE: This section uses “Trafc Module” to
describe the external device that receives trafc
information. The FM Trafc Receiver (such as the
GTM 10
) or the XM Smart Antenna (such as the
GXM 30
) can be used.
Connecting the Trafc Module to
Your StreetPilot
Plug the cable from the Trafc Module into the USB
connector on the right side of the StreetPilot.
Viewing Trafc Events
From the Menu page, touch Tools > Trafc Info. Select
an item in the Trafc Events list to view the details.
Touch Near… to view trafc at a different location.
