The GNC 300’s NAV Menu 2 provides access to various timer and planning func-
tions, including:
• Approach timer • Clock (Date and time)
• Trip Timer • RAIM Prediction
• Scheduler • Sunrise and sunset calculations
The approach timer acts as either a count up or a count down timer that can be
set or reset at any time.
To activate/change/view the approach timer:
1. Press
N
and rotate
O
until NAV Menu 2 is displayed.
2. Press
C
twice and rotate
O
until ‘Appr Time?’ is highlighted. Press
E
.
3. Rotate
K
to select either ‘Count up’ or ‘Count down’. Press
E
.
4. Use

to set the time to begin counting from. Press

5. Rotate

to select the desired function: ‘Start’, ‘Stop’, or ‘Reset’. Press
