•Fit a .437 white cap nut onto the end of a front axle.
•Tap the cap nut with a hammer to secure it to the end of the
front axle.
•Repeat this procedure to fasten another .437 white cap nut
to the other front axle.

Assembly
•Slide a large washer onto the
short end of each front axle.
•Position the steering linkage
cover over the steering linkage.
Make sure the A and B
markings in the steering linkage
cover match the A and B
markings in the steering linkage. Fit the steering linkage
cover onto the front axles.
Note: The steering linkage curve should still face you.

is facing up and the curve is
toward you.
•Position each front axle so
that the short end is facing up.

front axles up through the
ends of the steering linkage,

•Turn the vehicle body over so that the bottom faces you.
•Insert one #8 x

" screw through the front hole in the
vehicle body and into the windshield, as shown.
•Fit a small washer to two #8 x

" screws. Insert these
screws with washers through the other holes in the vehicle
body and into the windshield, as shown.
•Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
Do not over-tighten.
