ensures that all of the following safety conditions are met or the vehicle will not
be remotely started:
•Transmission must be in park
•Engine and ignition must be off
•Engine must not be overheated
•Hood must be closed
q✔ Anti-Theft Measures — Your car may be driven only after your ignition key is
turned to the “ON” position. If anyone other than you tries to drive the vehicle
while the engine is running, the system immediately shuts down the engine if:
•The transmission is moved out of the park position
•The brake pedal is pressed
•Engine rpm exceeds a certain threshold
•The hood is opened
