In the event the alarm is tripped during your
absence, the Extension LED will flash when
the system is disarmed by the remote control.
The number of times the Extension LED
flashes indicates which sensor caused the
system to be triggered. The numbers are
assigned as follows:
SENSORS NUMBER OF FLASHES
Door .............................................................1
Hood/Trunk ..................................................2
Radar ...........................................................3
Dual Stage Impact .......................................4
Optional/Radar #2 ........................................5
If the alarm is tripped by the Radar Sensor,
the Extension LED will flash three times
every three seconds for 1 minute after the
system is disarmed.
If the alarm is tripped twice, first by the Radar
Sensor and second by the Optional Sensor
input, the Extension LED will flash 3 times
and 5 times (alternately) for 1 minute after
the system is disarmed.
1. The Tripped Sensor Indication will not be
activated when the system is disarmed
using the Disarm/Valet switch.
2. If the alarm is tripped by sensors other
than those mentioned above (such as
turning the ignition key ON), the Extension
LED will not flash.
3. Once the ignition key is turned ON, the
tripped sensor indication will be termi-
nated. If you wish to recall the latest
tripped sensor, perform the following:
1. Sit inside the vehicle and arm the
system with the remote control.
2. While holding the Disarm/Valet Switch
ON, disarm the system with the remote
control.
3. The LED will indicate the last tripped
sensor.
