Registering the ID code
of the Remote Control
Transmitter
Before using the security system for the first
time or after purchasing a new remote
control, the remote must be registered for the
security unit. Up to 4 remote controls can be
registered.
Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
With the Disarm/Valet switch turned on,
repeatedly turn the ignition switch on and off
3 times. The ignition switch should be OFF
after the last time. (“CODE LEARNING” is
scrolled in the display.)
Press the TX/PANIC button corresponding to
the remote control transmitter you desire to
register.
(When registered correctly, the system will
chirp twice.)
Release the Disarm/Valet switch.
Notes:
• Turn the Disarm/Valet switch ON and hold
it until the registration completes.
• The registration mode completes when
the Disarm/Valet switch is OFF or the
ignition switch is ON in the registration
mode.
