When the Auto Lock feature is active (see
Function Setup Programmable Features
section), the doors will automatically lock 10
seconds after the ignition is turned on. As a
safety precaution, this feature will be disabled
if any of the following conditions are met:
1. The ignition is turned on when any of the
doors are open.
2. Any door is opened within 10 seconds
after the ignition is turned on.
In addition to locking the doors automati-
cally when the ignition is turned on, the
system can be programmed to unlock the
doors automatically when the ignition is
turned off.
Note: Door locks may be optional. Consult
your Alpine dealer for more informa-
tion.
When the outer sector is violated, the SEC-
8063 will chirp the siren and flash the Parking
Lights four times. If so desired, the warning/
pre-warn mode chirps can be made longer by
changing the Chirp (Warning/Pre-Warn)
feature (see Function Setup Programmable
Features section). In addition, for residents
of New York, the warning mode chirps can be
turned off while still maintaining the parking
light flashes (see Radar Sensor Operation
section).
