Remote Control Pro-
tected Valet
When the system is placed into valet through
the SEA-8481 Remote Control, all sensors
are inactive except the hood/trunk sensor.
This is ideal when the car is being valet
parked or washed because the hood and
trunk will be protected from any prying eyes
or hands. However, because the siren will
sound if these sensors are tampered with,
this valet mode is NOT RECOMMENDED
when the car is being serviced. The
protected valet feature can be accessed with
the ignition on or off.
Placing the System in
Protected Valet:
Press and hold the EXT1/VALET button for at
least 2 seconds (when the system is
disarmed).
“PROTECTED VALET ON” will be scrolled 3
times on the display of the remote control
transmitter.
The Extension LED will blink once, indicating
that the system is now in valet.
