Tools
The Tools menu (Menu 7) lets you:
♦set an alarm so that the phone rings at a specific time to remind you of
an appointment or other task
♦view the calendar and organize your schedule
♦use the phone as a calculator for basic mathematical equations or
currency exchange operations
♦use a timer or stopwatch
♦view times in different parts of the world
Alarm
This menu (Menu 7.1) allows you to:
♦set up to three alarms to ring at a specific time
♦set the phone to switch on automatically and ring the alarm even if the
phone is switched off
To set an alarm
1. From the Idle screen, press the Menu soft key to access the menu
mode.
2. Use the Navigation keys to highlight Tools and press the Select soft
key or the key.
3. Highlight Alarms and press the Select soft key or the key. The
following options display:
♦Wake-up Alarm: intended for use as an “alarm clock”.
♦Alarm1: primary task alarm.
